Roger Mieusset, MD, PhD is the Head of the Male Sterility Center in the Reproductive Medicine ward at the university public hospital in Toulouse, France. A clinical andrologist with a strong background in embryology and physiology of the male genital system, he has published 62 articles in peer-reviewed journals. His past contributions include impact of congenital and acquired male genital anomalies upon sperm output and quality, and deregulation of the testis thermoregulation as an infertility factor and a male contraception method. He was Editor-in-Chief of Andrologie, the official journal of the French Speaking Society of Andrology (SALF), which goes international as Basic and Clinical Andrology.
